Once again the Small family were facing a freezing cold winter together. They had to stay strong for each other despite the loss of Max.

Mick headed out into the snow and switched on his Weather Machine, which he had been saving for just this occasion. He had lived through too many cold winters and wanted to make things easier for the Small family.

As the sun set the machine had successfully stopped any more snow from falling.

There was still plenty of snow on the ground and Mick decided to take advantage of it.

Mick was so busy being a child again that he hadn’t realised just how freezing cold it still was. His skin turned blue-grey and his teeth chattered/

Mick decided to head back inside and warm himself up by dancing to his brothers music. He soon had colour back in his cheeks again.

But it was too late…

Death came to the Small family, this time accompanied by a pair of hula dancing girls. Mick died satisfied with his life, and so he had a happy afterlife ahead of him.

But that didn’t make it easier for the rest of the family.
