The Small family had all the luck…

It was getting colder outside. Max the stray dog was hanging around all the time, so Trixie and Rick decided to let Sue adopt him at last.

They knew they had made the right choice. Trixie and Rick, who was now an Elder, were happy with their decision.

Sue thought it best that Max slept in her room. He was an old dog and she wanted to keep an eye on him.

Looking after him was almost a full time job, but Sue enjoyed it all the same.

Time pressed down upon Trixie in the same way it had her brothers.

But the family was happy again.

And Rick really enjoyed playing the piano.
