On the first day of spring the Small family did their best to clear up the garden, a few tough weeds had sprung up. Guardian tended to the Small graveyard before the day was over.

As the sun set, something spooky started to happen…

It was the ghosts of Andre and Leonora!

They were restless ghosts, unable to find their special bed, which had been sold to help pay for the redecorated Small bedroom…

Leonora entered the house, watching her children who had now grown up and changed so much.

Their restlessness became mischief, and their mischief soon became sinister… Leonora found Sue in the hallway and terrified her by moving the furniture around!

Sue dropped her book and ran screaming out of the house, still dressed in her pyjamas, and ran straight into her grandfather!

After that night Sue’s every thought turned towards the horrors she had witnessed…

Would Sue ever be the same again?
