This was the family at the start of the next winter.

Just as things were settling down again, Leonora died.

Rick was devastated.

And Trixie immediately spent Leonora’s insurance payout on redecorating Andre and Leonora’s old bedroom… which she took for herself and Rick.

The family really had to look out for each other now. Mick found some joy in teaching little Ed to walk.

He was really good to his nephew. Ed was growing up well with the protection of his family.

Rick couldn’t help notice there was something different about Trixie’s belly again.

Eventually the coin dropped and Rick jumped for joy. He was going to be a daddy again!
